GIS Based - District Water Conservation Plans

         We developed a scientifically structured, GIS-driven District Water Conservation Plan for nine Districts of Uttarakhand integrating remote sensing, hydrogeology, and watershed analytics to support sustainable water resource management. The project involved DEM-based hydrological modelling, aquifer assessment, runoff estimation, and block-level intervention planning. By identifying priority recharge zones and site-suitable conservation structures, the plan enabled data-driven, department-ready implementation aligned with Jal Shakti Abhiyan and state convergence frameworks. The project were allotted by the Nodal Department i.e. Department of Irrigation of respective Districts.
